It's finally Spring! My favorite season. Now it's time for deep cleaning, gardening and burning up the chub that we've accumulated over the cold winter. Yes, I have to admit that I have a few pounds to shed. To be exact, I need to get rid of a spare tire and some love handles!
Of course gardening and yard work will help, but I have also started using a gizmo called the ab lounge which we have placed in the middle of the living room so that there are no excuses for not using it! Since we love sports, I'll also be outside playing ball, which should help. Batting and throwing are good for the gut!
After reading late last night that being overweight reduces your lifespan, I am extra motivated to lose the extra 5-10 lbs before I gain more. I have enough bad habits that may take years off my life, like not getting enough sleep and having a hot temper, I don't need anything else chiseling away at my life.
I'll let you know how it goes!
