Some Antique Quilts

We home school. The eldest children take public Internet classes. Therefore, they had to go out of town this week in order to take the yearly state assessment test, MAP. They were busy with testing from 9:30 a.m. until about 2 p.m. I busied myself by perusing the town and photographing everything that interested me. Surprisingly, I found that I really enjoyed myself.

I thought I would have nothing to do but read. Instead I read only a few pages the entire time! One of the things that I enjoyed was looking at all the neat quilts in the antique shops and the museum. I decided to photograph them more for my online friend Judy Brenemen of Womenfolk.com than for myself. I hope you all enjoy these beauties as much as I enjoyed finding and photographing them!

Btw, I enjoyed much more than the quilts and will be blogging about the other things that I found interesting soon!
